Греция и Турция решили уладить старые конфликты
Анкара и Афины выступают за мирное урегулирование конфликтов, осложняющих на протяжении многих лет отношения между двумя странами. Об этом сказали президент Турции Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган и премьер-министр Греции Алексис Ципрас после встречи в Анкаре, пишет Дойче велле.
“Несмотря на то, что в наших отношениях временами случались нежелательные ситуации, мы находили возможности, чтобы все уладить”, – подчеркнул Эрдоган на пресс-конференции в Анкаре.
Ципрас, в свою очередь, назвал встречу “честной и эффективной” и выразил надежду, что она поможет Турции и Греции вырваться из “замкнутого круга кризисов”.
Основными областями, в которых обе страны планируют активнее сотрудничать, являются борьба с терроризмом, решение конфликта вокруг Северного Кипра, а также разработка полезных ископаемых в Эгейском море.
Это уже второй визит премьера Греции в Турцию в качестве главы правительства. Поездка Эрдогана в Грецию в 2017 году стала первым визитом президента Турции в эту страну за 65 лет.
